In the game, there are a ton of outfits and sets of clothes for you to change into. Before you can do that, though, you must actually have a different outfit to change into. Let’s talk about how to get new clothes in the game.
To get new clothes, you must first progress through the game quite a bit. In the beginning, you’ll be completing basic main quests and side quests as the game teaches you the ropes.
Eventually, when you’re given a bit more freedom, you’ll reach a point in the game where you unlock new clothes and armor. Sometimes, you’ll receive some new clothes after a quest or while roaming in the wild, but there is another way to get armor.
To do this, you’ll need to find recipes for new armor. These recipes can be found by advancing through the game normally and by completing quests for different characters along the way.
With these recipes in hand, you’ll be able to craft a new set of armor to wear, which can be equipped in the equip menu.
Once you have new clothes, you’ll be able to change outfits.
Changing Outfits
Changing outfits is admittedly odd. At random points throughout the game, an action you make will trigger an outfit change. For example, if you build a bathing area, you’ll unlock the Bath Towel costume.
When you start a mission, such as the mission to build a bathing area, your character will automatically change into the Bath Towel costume.
