How to Change Appearance in Dragon Ball Z Kakarot

Unfortunately, changing appearance isn’t under your control in the game. You can’t head to a certain part of the game’s menu or a particular location on the map to change out what Goku and the other characters are wearing.

Instead, certain characters will get new looks automatically throughout the game’s story. Since it’s broken down into Sagas, the characters will wear what they’re supposed to for each one.

For example, Gohan wears different clothes and has different hairstyles during the Frieza and Cell sagas, and similar things happen to other characters at other points.

Many of them have appearances that they’re pretty synonymous with though, so it shouldn’t come as that much of a surprise for them to stick to one look most of the time.
