Dragon Ball FighterZ is finally out in the wild, and fans of the long-running, legendary anime, can once again play out their fantasy DBZ matchups with the power of modern modern consoles and PCs enhancing their experience.

There are a variety of game modes to play, both online and offline. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering if you and someone else you have over can take part in playing the latest DBZ fighting game together locally. Well the good news is that you certainly can!

To play local multiplayer in Dragon Ball FighterZ, you’ll need to make your way to the ‘Local Battle’ area towards the back of the lobby. Simply move your lobby character around there and speak to the guy within the circle. You’ll now have the option to begin a single battle between you and one other friend, or start a tournament. The tournament mode allows you to play with up to 16 others and as few as three, with CPU filling in any empty spaces.
