How to Remove Your Dark Zone Rogue Bounty in The Division 2

Recommended Videos

The Division 2 has just released and players are already running into the Dark Zone to acquire premium loot. While in the Dark Zone, you have the option to go rogue, making yourself visible on the map and acquiring a bounty on your head. This guide will show you how to remove your rogue bounty while in the Dark Zone in The Division 2.

Listed below are the various ways you can go about removing your bounty, which we’ll go into more detail in a bit:

  • Wait out the timer
  • Visit the Thieves’ Den
  • Dying and respawning

The first method to removing your bounty is to just hide and wait for your timer to end. If you take any rogue actions or kill other players, your timer will reset and you’ll receive a higher rogue status and evolve into a disavowed rogue. As a disavowed rogue you are more visible on the map and easier to find and be killed. You’ll also have the to an opportunity to acquire more loot which comes to the second method of removing your Dark Zone bounty.

The second method is to unlock the Thieves’ Den and visit it. To unlock the Thieves’ Den, you must complete a series of actions to find its location. From there all you have to do is enter and your bounty will instantly drop and you’ll also have the opportunity to buy rarer items from the vendor at the den.

The only caveat is that you can only enter the Thieves’ Den when you are at the lowest rogue level, so disavowed and manhunt rogues are out of luck.

The third method to removing your rogue bounty is to hack a Manhunt Terminal. This is only needed if you have achieved the status of a manhunt rogue, which is the riskiest stage. You are completely visible on the map and the bounty is the largest it can be, making you a hot target. There are 3 terminals within the Dark Zone and you only need to reach one.

However, there is a choice to hack a terminal to keep the Manhunt status and receive better loot, but this increases the chances of dying while trying to reach another terminal.

You can also lose your rogue bounty by dying and respawning but in turn, you would lose all of your loot and some XP so that’s not an ideal way to remove it.

These are all of the ways to clearing your rogue bounty in The Division 2. Be sure to check our Division 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
