How Long The Division 2 Takes to Beat & How Many Missions There Are

Recommended Videos

After learning from their mistakes from the first game, Ubisoft and Massive are back with The Division 2, and it’s better than ever. Here’s what you need to know about how long The Division 2 takes to beat, and how many missions there are in the game.

While the mission list itself isn’t all that long, it will likely take you around 30 hours to beat the story campaign in The Division 2. This is because all story missions have a recommended level, and you’ll need to complete some side missions along the way to level up enough and clear the main missions with relative ease.

Listed below are all of the main story missions in The Division 2:

  • Dawn’s Early Light
  • The White House
  • The Theater
  • Grand Washington Hotel
  • Jefferson Trade Center
  • ViewPoint Museum
  • American History Museum
  • Air and Space Museum
  • Space Administration HQ
  • Jefferson Plaza
  • Bank Headquarters
  • DCD Headquarters
  • Lincoln Memorial
  • Potomac Event Center
  • Federal Emergency Bunker
  • District Union Arena (Stronghold)
  • Roosevelt Island (Stronghold)
  • Capitol Building (Stronghold)

The story in The Division 2 does technically come to an end once you’ve completed the Federal Emergency Bunker and return to the White House, but the final three Strongholds are still worth clearing to help rid DC of the enemy factions once and for all.

Completing all main missions in The Division 2 including the Strongholds will likely take you around 30 hours. However, the game has even more content to offer beyond the main story.

You can repeat all main missions on higher difficulty settings for better rewards, and the same goes for the Strongholds. In addition to that, the Dark Zone and Conflict PvP mode offers more multiplayer content to dive into.

Ubisoft will be adding more content to the game throughout the year, so there will certainly be even more to look forward to later on.

That’s all you need to know about how long The Division 2 takes to beat, and how many missions there are. Be sure to check our Division 2 guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
