Can You Change Diablo Immortal’s Difficulty Level? Answered

Unfortunately, you cannot change the difficulty in Diablo Immortal. The game is designed around a set difficulty level that applies to all players; it is an always-online experience and therefore all players are subject to the same challenge.

Of course, it’s worth keeping in mind that because it’s an RPG, one can always simply spend more time grinding for experience points and leveling a character up beyond that which is appropriate for each area of the game.

If you bring up the game’s map and then view the world map you will notice that each area has a level recommendation. Taking the time to increase your character’s level beyond that which is suggested will essentially reduce the difficulty substantially, regardless of which class they fall into. Your character will be more powerful, both because their level is high and their gear is stronger than that which they would have if you were to instead beeline from one area to the next.

That might not be the answer you wanted to hear, but at least know that there’s a way to make Diablo Immortal easier if that’s what you’re trying to achieve.
