How to Hotkey Potions in Diablo 2: Resurrected

Hotkeying your potions in Diablo 2 is a little archaic, especially on consoles where it’s kind of clunky to navigate the menus with a controller but, ultimately, it’s not hard to do, it’s just unnecessarily time consuming, but I digress.

Go to your inventory select and drag your potion over the belt area of your character screen. By default, you start with one row of potions which can hold a maximum of four. However, once you have acquired higher-level belts, you’ll continue to get more and more rows to carry more potions at once. Therefore, if you have the opportunity to upgrade to a new belt with more potions slots, do it and preserve your sanity.

Otherwise, you’ll either be spending a lot of time managing your inventory or wasting perfectly good potions by either dropping them, selling them for a pittance of gold or just leaving them on the ground where you originally found them.

You can equip any potion class of item you want in that belt. That includes Health, Energy, Rejuvenation, Stamina, and damage dealing potions. It’s important that you do this as not only will it save inventory space, but it can save your life, which is especially important if you are playing on Hardcore.

That’s all for what you need to know about how to hotkey potions Diablo 2: Resurrected. For more Diablo 2: Resurrected check out some of our most recent guides and articles down below.
