Originally supposed to be a PlayStation 5 launch game, Destruction Allstars was pushed back to be a PS Plus free game in February. By crashing into all the other players in the arena, you earn points to try and win the game. If you’re struggling to top the leaderboards in a round, here’s everything you need to know about how to get points fast in Destruction Allstars.
You get points for various things in the game. First of all, you get a variety of points amounts for crashing into other players, from one to eight depending on the severity of the crash, you’ll get points for avoiding cars when on foot, and you’ll be rewarded with points for KO-ing other on foot characters with your vehicle.
How to Get Points Fast in Destruction Allstars
While you’ll be tempted to just tear around, trying to crash into anything and everything, winning in Destruction Allstars requires a much more considered approach.
You only get one point for a light hit in a collision, but it also stops you from gaining any momentum for a more substantial crash. You need to pick your battles and ensure that you’re timing your crashes well.
You get five points for a wreck and eight for an anihillation, so it’s worth saving your efforts for decent sized crashes. Try to crash into opponents when they’re stationary or turning, which puts the momentum on your side, or crash into them from the side to try and get a wreck of some kind.
You’ll find yourself getting points quicker by going for the significant crashes than if you just try and get one or twos as much as possible.
