Destiny: Rise of Iron Heroic Raid – How to Beat SIVA Density Room Vosik

Heroic Vosik in Radiation Room – Destiny: Rise of Iron

Starting Off

The second part after fighting Vosik in the opening of Destiny: Rise of Iron’s new Wrath of the Machine raid places you in a small radiation room with Vosik, who is ready to fight you yet again. Now this is one seriously tough room because there are a lot of adds, some bombs, and lots of SIVA radiation.

Before starting you’ll want to learn the room. There is the platform in the center where the boss stands, and four rooms around the edge. These rooms will be important later, so remember them. Also note the group of monitors at the top of the screen.

You’re going to want to once again split into three pairs – one for bombs, and one defender – and split between left, middle, and center. There will be a bunch of enemies spawning non-stop while the boss stands in the middle. What you’ll want to do is focus on adds until bombs fall from the sky (they’ll be preceded by a warning bell). Heroic mode ups the ante by making every person have to grab bombs and focus on the boss as well as monitors, so everyone must be on their A-game.

 Heroic Bombs and Monitors

While you’re fighting the adds, the bombs we mentioned before will drop. There will be two in each area – center, right, and left. Make sure everyone grabs one and make sure all are thrown at the same time. If they are thrown too far apart, you will barely do anything to Vosik’s shield and you will just have to wait even longer to see the rest of the Wrath of the Machine raid. After throwing the bombs, attention is of the utmost importance.

You’ll notice that Vosik’s shield will go down by about a quarter. Don’t worry, it won’t recharge just yet. Now just focus on the adds until a notification pops up on the bottom of the screen (above your special bar) stating SIVA density is critical… a problem that will kill you. When this notification pops, a random monitor above the boss will light up with some runes. Focus on the monitor and it will cancel the SIVA density, allowing for another round of bombs.

On Heroic, one thing to note is that you’ll get more Captains. Also, the monitors have much more health than they do on normal. You’ll need everyone shooting them, and they don’t stay up as long. Also, more Captains means you need to really try not to have too many bomb runs.

Continue to rinse and repeat until Vosik’s shield is completely depleted. You are now ready for the damage phase.

Heroic Damage Phase and Clean Rooms

When the shield is gone, focus all of your power on Vosik. This is one of the trickier fights in Destiny: Rise of Iron, so pay attention. Three more bombs will drop during this damage phase; throw them at the same time just like before to stun Vosik and lengthen the damage phase. That SIVA notification will pop up once more and no monitors will light up. It’s time to find safety.

Two rooms will randomly light up, pick one and have the entire team run in, then hit the switch beside the door. Make sure to all enter the same room, because the door will break after a use. The more rooms you have, the more chances you have to take out the boss. A good idea is that once you throw the bombs, everyone should go center, that way you’re equidistant from all rooms. At the end there will obviously be fewer options, making it easier to choose where to stand.

One thing to note on Heroic is that the door space will be a lot smaller. You’ll have to slide in. It also has a much faster countdown.

Once the door breaks, resume your positions and repeat the previous phases until you attain victory.

Do note that at half health the boss will start to summon exploding shanks. They will make the last couple of rounds really challenging but the pattern remains the same. Good luck and safe travels, guardians.
