How to Get Protective Light Mod & What It Does in Destiny 2

As an older mod that should already be familiar to many veterans of the game, it is a sueful addition to your arsenal espeically if you have a build that is all about light. As a Charge with Light mod, the mod will be powered up by picking up Orbs of Power before it can be effective.

  1. Play through the game and wait for the Gunsmith or Ada to sell it in the Tower.

  2. Attach the Protective Light Mod onto a Void armor piece

  3. Pair the mod with other compatible mods, such as Taking Charge

Once you find yourself Charged with Light, the Protective Light Mod will then consume up to 2 stacks of the charge to provide a powerful overshield that can be a lifesaver should you suffer too much damage. In tough battles against the enemies found in Destiny 2: The Witch Queen, having the Protective Light Mod might make the world of difference.
