For lapsed players or just newcomers who are just curious what these are when they’ve spotted them in a certain Master’s Curios, Etheric Spirals were used for Infusing Weapons or Armor, or purchasing Legendary Shards or other planetary materials from The Spider.

What to Do with Etheric Spirals in Destiny 2 Witch Queen

Despite claims that Etheric Spirals were going to be wiped from your inventory once and for all once the Witch Queen expansion arrived, that’s not turned out to be the case.

Instead, Etheric spirals can still be traded for Glimmer. To do this, speak to Master Rahool at the Tower. He’s immediately to your right from the central location that you’ll spawn in at, and conveniently who you’ll want to visit to claim any preorder and other bonus items. It may not last forever, though, so try and get that done ASAP.

Here, you’ll find a number of different things you can trade with Master Rahool for different things under the ‘Curios’ section. The second option along here is the option to ‘Purchase Glimmer’ for 20 Etheric Spirals.

Press X/ A/ LMB on this and you’ll hand them over to Master Rahool in exchange for 10,000 Glimmer.

Just like that, you’re all set to get rid of those Destiny 2 Etheric Spirals once and for all. For more tips, tricks and guides, head over to our wiki or see more of our coverage on the game below.
