Destiny 2: How to Skip Cutscenes

How to Skip Cutscenes in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2 has introduced quite a few meaningful changes to Bungie’s wildly popular shooter. One of the most appreciated additions to Destiny 2 for many players comes in the form of a far more intricate and meaningful story than the previous game offered. But sometimes players just want to get in the action, and that means skipping a cutscene every now and then.

In order to skip cutscenes in Destiny 2 all you have to do is press circle on PS4 or B on Xbox One. This will allow you to bypass the cutscene. When the original Destiny first launched, you couldn’t skip any scenes until the release of The Taken King which kicked off year two for the game. It’s nice to see that Bungie has thrown it in right at launch for players this time around, even if it does mean that some will skip the amazing story they’ve actually included.

Do note that if you skip a cutscene there’s no way to watch it at another time in-game without starting the game over or playing through that particular mission through a Meditation (though YouTube is definitely a thing).
