Destiny 2’s Season of the Hunt has arrived and players are now able to jump into a new form of content: Wrathborn Hunts, to try and grind out some powerful new gear. If you’re here, you’re probably wondering how to get Recon Data in Destiny 2’s Season of the Hunt. This is an important resource for this new content, so here’s how to get it.
How to Get Recon Data in Destiny 2 Season of the Hunt
Recon Data can be obtained in two different ways. The first, and most direct, way to farm Recon Data during Season of the Hunt is to simply complete Wrathborn Hunts. Upon completion of every hunt, you will receive a minimum of five at the end in the form of a planetary resource-like drop.
The second way is to be gifted it through seasonal ranks. The following seasonal ranks will reward you with Recon Data: 2 (10), 12 (20).
Also at rank 32 and 72, you will receive a Crow Reputation Boost which will slightly increase the amount you get from Wrathborn Hunts.
Once you’ve exhausted these bonus sources, the only other way is to grind, grind, grind. Check out our Wrathborn Hunt and Cryptolith guides for more help on maximizing the most of these activities.
As for what your Recon Data actually does? You can turn them into Crow at the Tangled Shore to receive reputation ranks up to unlock new perks for your Cryptolith along with gear drops.
