Getting Pardon Our Dust in Destiny 2

To get Pardon Our Dust in Destiny 2, you’ll need to head to Xur’s Treasure Hoard and open the treasure chest in front of him.

Xur’s Treasure Hoard can be located on Eternity, which is found just below the Moon and to the bottom left of the Tower in the center of your Director.

This treasure chest can’t just be opened willy nilly, though. You’ll need to not only increase your Strange Favor but also have a Treasure Key in order to open it.

It’s also worth noting that opening the chest in Xur’s Treasure Hoard doesn’t guarantee you’ll get the Pardon Our Dust grenade launcher. This is an RNG chest, so you’ll have to keep trying your luck in the hope that this drops.

Getting Treasure Keys

To get these keys, you’ll need to complete a Dares of Eternity event. This is also accessed from ‘Eternity’ on your Director.

When the event begins, you’ll need to defeat enemies to fill up a progress bar. Once this is full, a final boss will be summoned which you’ll then need to kill.

After defeating the final boss, you’ll be able to open a chest that will contain, among other things, a Treasure Key.

The Dares of Eternity challenge will always award you with one Treasure Key each time you finish it. This is repeatable, so you can grind out the event in order to get as many keys are you need to get all of the Halo weapons.
