Getting the Guardian Games Armor in Destiny 2 in 2021

The process is simple, you really just need to get into the thick of things for this particular event. By participating in the games, you will be rewarded with Laurels and Medals. Naturally, the better you do, the higher the rank of the rewards that you will get. And the higher the rank of the Laurels and Medals, the more your chances of getting the best loot the Guardian Games in Destiny 2 increases.

In terms of participation, you are looking at completing specific Guardian Games triumphs, as well as Contender Cards. The former should be straightforward enough in terms of completing certain actions in Destiny 2, but the latter requires a little more work.

Laurels will drop in the many different modes in the game, and you can get even more by doing these activities with members of the same class. Competing in the Daily Focus playlist will also net you bonus Laurels. Once you have 100 or more Laurels, head to Eva Levante in the Tower.

You can then trade in 100 Laurels for a Contender Card, or 200 for a Platinum Card. These cards will task you with a random objective, complete them and you will receive a shiny new medal. Contender Cards give Gold medals while Platinum Cards give Platinum medals.

By turning in these medals to your class podium found near the Tower, Destiny 2 will shower you with loot drops. Here is where you hope for the best and the RNG gods are looking at your favorably. Aside from potentially getting the Guardian Games armor, you may also receive class items, additional XP, new emblems, the armor set, and the Heir Apparent Catalyst, a rare weapon that is very much the holy grail for some players.

As Bungie would like it, the chances of players getting the Guardian Games armor in Destiny 2 is very much down to chance. However, at least the games are great. Just hope that your fun participating will eventually result in getting the armor you sorely want.

That is everything you need to know about how to get the Guardian Games Armor in Destiny 2 in 2021. If you still need more information about Destiny 2 and the Guardian Games, we got you covered here.
