Destiny 2 Forsaken: How to Get Visions of Light Fast

How to Get Visions of Light Fast in Destiny 2 Forsaken

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2’s subclasses and their supers are finally getting a much-needed overhaul through the most recent expansion, Forsaken. All nine subclasses will get an entire new super to play with. Nightstalkers takes a page from the old Destiny 1 Bladedancer days, able to slice up enemies quickly and then retreat back into the shadows. Stormcallers can go Kamehameha on the enemies of darkness with their new super. And, the Sentinel gets to live out the dream that Defenders always had: a portable shield that allies can shoot through while keeping them protected. Although it’s not as major as adding an entirely new subclass like Bungie did with The Taken King, it’s still a welcome change that should spice things up nonetheless.

If you’re here, you’re probably already full speed ahead on starting the quest to unlock your new super for your favorite subclass. You’re wondering how to get visions of light, the material needed to complete your milestone for your new super.

You can get visions of light in a number of different ways in Destiny 2: Forsaken. Completing adventures, lost sectors, strikes, crucible matches, and/or killing powerful enemies (basically, anything with an orange bar or named). Shards that are physically dropped, such as the ones dropped by powerful enemies, appear as bright light blue crystals that can be picked up (and need to be in order to count).

To get visions of light quickly, we suggest stacking as many of the above as you can. Ideally, you want to find as many orange/named enemies as you can, as they are a reliable and plentiful source of visions of light. Either work on the campaign, or if you’re done with that, tackle some adventures and strikes as they are bound to have lots of powerful enemies to farm your visions of light. When you’re done, you’ll automatically move onto the next step of the quest.

That does it for how to get visions of light in Destiny 2: Forsaken and getting your new super. Be sure to check out our wiki guide for more tips and tricks for Destiny 2: Forsaken.
