Destiny 2 Forsaken: How to Find Cayde-6’s Memorial

How to Find Cayde-6’s Memorial in Destiny 2: Forsaken

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2: Forsaken just launched and it’s already made as big of an impact as Destiny 2 has in the year since it launched, especially story- wise. Even if you haven’t beaten the campaign yet, it is no secret that everyone’s favorite Exo Guardian, Cayde-6, will meet a grim fate in Forsaken. While unfortunate, it has made for a considerably compelling story. Bungie has been sure to make sure no one forgets the smart-ass hunter anytime soon, even erecting a small memorial in his honor.

In order to find this memorial, like a lot of the content presented in Destiny 2: Forsaken, you are going to need to beat the Forsaken campaign first. Once you do, head over to the Tower and find Ikora. Once in the Bazaar, look for the ramen shop. Under the store logo, you’ll find a picture of Cayde framed, giving you a thumbs up.

The ramen shop is as an appropriate place as any to honor Cayde-6, as the game features an entire mission, titled Cayde’s Spicy Ramen, in which the Guardians must go to the shop. Once there, players find an expired ramen coupon. While it has no usage, it is a neat little side mission and was likely planned for Forsaken, planting seeds for the memorial to make sense after Cayde’s death.

Alongside the memorial, Bungie revealed a heart-wrenching final letter written by Cayde. In the letter, he makes fun of Ikora and Zavala for not noticing he left, revealing he did so to help out Petra Venj. While he stated it was nothing serious, simply patrol slack, this was the very mission in which he was killed by Uldren Sov. The full letter is available over at IGN, but be sure to bring some tissues.

That is how you find Cayde-6’s memorial in Destiny 2 Forsaken. For more info on Destiny 2: Forsaken, as well as tips and tricks, be sure to head over to our detailed wiki.
