Destiny 2’s Season of the Lost is here and it brings with it, of course, new seasonal mods that players can experiment with to switch up their builds. While everyone is hyped about Particle Deconstructor (and rightfully so) there’s another seasonal mod that is absolutely worth considering as it’s equally as destructive when used correctly. In this guide, we’re going to go over the Destiny 2 seasonal mod Focusing Lens including how you can get it and how to use it.

How to Get Focusing Lens in Season of the Lost

As of the time of this writing, Focusing Lens is a seasonal mod exclusive to Season of the Lost. It is on the last row of mods that you can purchase using your Artifact. Meaning, you’ll need to grind a little bit before you can actually use it.

Once you do have it unlocked, though, you can equip it to your class item for a modest three energy; not too bad!

How to Use Focusing Lens in Destiny 2

Now let’s talk about how to actually use the Focusing Lens mod properly. The mod states: your Light abilities do more damage to combatants affected by Stasis.

There’s a couple of ways that you can take advantage of this. You could pair up with a friend that has either Stasis or a Light subclass, and you could create a powerful 1 2 punch where one of you lands some Stasis on your enemies and the other takes advantage by using their Light abilities for lots of extra damage.

However, you don’t have to team up to make the most of Focusing Lens. You can take advantage of Stasis weapons, like Ager’s Scepter, that apply Stasis effects and use a Light subclass. Essentially, by simply using something like Ager’s Scepter you can dramatically increase the power of your Light subclass, making it a very potent Seasonal mod that is welcome in many builds for this season.

That’s all you need to know for how to use Focusing Lens and how to get it in Destiny 2’s Season of the Lost. For more tips, tricks, and FAQs answered, be sure to search our latest Destiny 2 content.
