Destiny 2 Curse of Osiris: How to Get to The Lighthouse

How to Get to the Lighthouse in Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris

Recommended Videos

Destiny 2’s first expansion, Curse of Osiris, is finally here, and players will finally be able to go out and explore Mercury proper. What’s especially cool is that the secret social space from Destiny 1, the Lighthouse, which was reserved for players that went flawless in Trials of Osiris, will now be open to everyone. It will look quite different to players who remember it from Destiny 1, and it’s not exactly a social space like it was (it’s now just a roped off safe zone of the explorable Mercury area), but still has a lot going on for it in Destiny 2.

The Lighthouse houses our old pal Brother Vance, who will be your primary vendor and token hoarder for Mercury in Destiny 2’s Curse of Osiris. He’s super hyped at the thought of possibly, finally, meeting his idol Osiris for the first time, so he’ll do whatever he needs to do to help you help Osiris. Also, there’s the new Forge, which will allow you to construct powerful new Vex-themed Legendary weapons, provided you’re able and willing to complete new Lost Prophecy quests to unlock them.

It all sounds cool, but you don’t have access to the Lighthouse right away in Curse of Osiris. Don’t worry, you don’t need to go flawless again, but you do need to at least progress past the first mission of the expansion. Once you complete the first mission of Curse of Osiris, you’ll be able to land on Mercury just to explore, and also enter The Lighthouse. There’s a portal that goes to and from the combat area on Mercury and the Lighthouse, so you’re free to come and go without having to go back to Orbit or use the navigator.

And that’s all there is to it! Be sure to search Twinfinite for most Destiny 2: Curse of Osiris, guides, tips, tricks, and FAQs. Enjoy exploring the planet closest to the sun, Guardians!
