How to Get Clan XP in Destiny 2

Recommended Videos

When you join a clan in Destiny 2, you’re essentially joining up a group of gamers who share a common goal. That means you should strive to work and play together whenever possible, because that’s the point of grouping up, after all. You’ll also start earning clan XP together once you’re all signed up and ready to go.

First, to start earning clan XP, you’ll need to be in a clan or have started yor own. Next, you’ll have to equip your own clan banner. You’ll need to speak to Suraya Hawthorne in The Farm to pick one of these up. When you get it, equip it by going into the gear screen and using the bottom right option to do so.

From there, you’ll start earning clan XP by completing different objectives while you play through the game, up to a maximum amount of 5,000 clan XP that will eventually reset every week. You cannot start your own clan and not recruit anyone to exploit this system, as every clan must have at least two members to start accruing XP.

Here are some objectives you can complete to earn clan XP:

  • Complete a story mission – 500XP
  • Complete Crucible games – 500XP
  • Complete a Patrol mission – 250XP
  • Complete an Adventure – 500XP
  • Complete a Public Event – 500XP (Fireteams only)

Now get out there and start racking up those points, Guardian!
