Destiny 2: Brush Your Teeth, Brilliant Smile Triumph Guide (FOTL 2019)

brush your teeth, brilliant smile, destiny 2, fotl, triumph

Destiny 2 normally takes itself pretty seriously and doesn’t like to have a ton of fun. If there’s a time though where Bungie lets loose a little and does some silly stuff, it’s around the holidays. In Festival of the Lost 2019, there’s a triumph called A Brilliant Smile which asks you to brush your teeth. In this guide we’re going to walk you through how to complete A Brilliant Smile, and well, brush your teeth for Festival of the Lost 2019 in Destiny 2.

How to Brush Your Teeth & Complete A Brilliant Smile Triumph in Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost 2019

First things first, start the Festival of the Lost 2019 quest line by talking to Eva Levante and make sure you have a Masquerader’s Mask for your class and leave it equipped the whole way through. The NPCs you need to talk to won’t give you what you need without it being equipped, and some quest steps might not progress. Don’t confuse yourself, just keep it on.

After you’ve done that, you can start the Brush Your Teeth & A Brilliant Smile Triumph quest by talking to Eris Morn (final reminder, mask on). She will of course, give you a tiny box of raisins. Classic Eris.

You then need to bring that Tiny Box of Raisins to Spider who will ask you to kill 12 of each enemy type in the Tangled Shore: Scorn, Fallen, Hive, Cabal. He will give you a Winged Chew.

From this point on, you’re going to be bouncing from NPC to NPC to exchange gifts and preform tasks. It’s easier for us (and you) if we just list all those steps below.

How to Brush Your Teeth & Freshen Your Breath

The time has finally come, the moment of truth: It’s time to brush your teeth.

Once you have obtained the toothbrush from Eris Morn, go into your consumables inventory and “Use” the toothbrush.

You will now have A Brilliant Smile, have brushed your teeth, and will have freshened your breath and completed the Triumph.

That said, the toothbrush is now used and still sitting in your inventory. It might be useful for something one day. Perhaps you’ll need to brush your teeth again? Just throw it in your vault to be safe.

That’s all you need to know for how to brush your teeth, freshen your breath, and complete the A Brilliant Smile triumph in Destiny 2: Festival of the Lost 2019. For more tips, tricks, and FAQs answered be sure to check out our year 3 Destiny 2 wiki guide.
