What the Deathloop Install & Download Size Is

Although Deathloop’s Sept. 14 release date is still quite some way off, we already know what its install size is thanks to a listing. And at just 16.1 GB, it’s much smaller than you might have been expecting. For reference, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, the PS5’s latest exclusive, is around twice the install size.

Do keep in mind, however, that just because the install size is on the lower end of the spectrum doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to be a small game. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is an absolutely enormous game and rather famously takes only 13 GB of space on Nintendo Switch.

Just as in that particular case, the small install size of Deathloop is probably a result of good optimization rather than it being a small game. That said, we’re purely speculating here as we have no idea the scale of the game’s map. More on that in the coming months…

For now, that’s everything you need to know about what the Deathloop install and download size is. If there’s any further relevant information pertaining to the game’s size that we discover ahead of its launch we’ll be sure to keep this guide updated.
