Dead By Daylight PS4: Server Connection Issues Explained

Dead By Daylight PS4 Server Connection Issues Explained

Recommended Videos

Dead By Daylight, the multiplayer centric horror survival game, has been available on PlayStation 4 since June 2017, and it has proved very popular. It’s essentially a 4v1 game, where four survivors attempt to hide and escape from the single violent killer. You may have already played it, but a whole host of new players will be making their way to the game over the next month because it is one of August 2018’s free games that are available for PlayStation Plus subscribers. Those players, as you’d expect, have brought some server issues to the game. There are a variety of them, and they’re all quite general, but here are some tips on how to fix them.

One of the messages that some players are encountering is “the Dead by Daylight servers are not currently available, please try again later,” but it’s not something that has always been an issue in the game since it launched over a year ago. The new influx of players is likely tied to the new error messages. It’s probably down to nothing more than the servers being overly busy. All you can really do is restart the game or your system in an attempt to refresh your attempted entry into the servers. If doing that doesn’t work, you might just need to wait and try at a later time. The Dead By Daylight developers have chimed in about the issues via Twitter, and say that the team is looking into the issues. All you can really do is keep trying and be patient. Hopefully you’ll get into a game soon.
