How to Redeem Preorder DLC in Days Gone

Following the trend that’s been going on for years of including small items to entice people to preorder, you’ll get a few things no matter where you preorder Days Gone from. Everyone will get access to the following DLC:

  • An early unlock of the Drifter Crossbow
  • The first Nitrous Upgrade
  • The first Gas Tank Upgrade
  • The first Shroud Upgrade

Days Gone Digital Deluxe and Collectors Edition purchasers will also get:

  • Deacon vs. The Horde Dynamic Theme
  • Monkey Wrench Skill Early Unlock
  • Three Bike Skins

Also, if you preorder the game digitally from the PlayStation Store, you’ll also get the Days Gone Sawmill Dynamic Theme, which you’ll be able to download upon purchase.

How to Redeem Preorder DLC – Physical Copy

If you bought the physical copy from any retailer, you will get the above DLC content, and you will be able to redeem it using the code that comes on a little slip inside the game’s box.

Once your copy of Days Gone is in your hands, simply head the PlayStation Store on your console and scroll down the menu on the left to the Redeem Codes option.

Type the code into the box that appears and you’ll be given the option to download the new content. You’ll then be able to find them in game when you start it up.

How to Redeem Preorder DLC – Digital Copy

It’s a little easier if you’ve bought the game digitally. If you’ve done so from a retailer, you may be given a code on a piece of receipt paper, which will need to be used like explained above.

If you’ve preordered Days Gone on the PlayStation Store, though, the DLC content should simply be available to download alongside the game itself. Once the game becomes available to you, download the add-ons too and they’ll be available in game.

If you’ve missed them, you should always be able to find them from your library, which is at the far right of your list of games on the PlayStation 4 menu. The DLC should be under Days Gone there.
