Developed by Phoenix Labs, Dauntless is the brand new free-to-play online monster hunting game released for consoles and PC. You’ll spend most of your time hunting down large Behemoths and farming them for parts to craft better weapons and equipment for your character. Here’s how to get Smoldering Bloodhide in Dauntless.
How to Get Smoldering Bloodhide in Dauntless
The Smoldering Bloodhide is a rare loot drop that can only be obtained by killing the Bloodfire Embermane. The Bloodfire Embermane is a Dire Behemoth and one of the tougher monsters you’ll face in Dauntless.
Not to be confused with the Lesser Embermane you hunt very early on in the game, the Bloodfire variant is much stronger and vicious, but it’s weak to the Frost element.
As far as we can tell, the only way to get the Smoldering Bloodhide is by killing the Bloodfire Embermane.
However, there’s no guarantee that you’ll get the item as it’s a rare drop, which means that you’ll need to farm this Behemoth a few times in order to get it.
What It’s For
The Smoldering Bloodhide is one of the reagent items in Dauntless, and is primarily used for crafting better weapons and gear back in town.
Of course, you’ll need more than just the Bloodhide itself for the crafting process. Other monster parts will be required, along with Orbs, which can be farmed pretty easily from patrols, especially if you do them daily and diligently.
Once you have all the materials you need, you’ll be able to craft Embermane gear, which should last you for quite a while in Dauntless.
That’s all you need to know about how to get Smoldering Bloodhide and what it’s for in Dauntless. Be sure to search for Twinfinite or check our Dauntless guide wiki for more tips and information on the game.
