Cyberpunk 2077 is an open world action RPG, and in ways it’s very similar to other titles in the genre available right now. As you progress through V and Johnny Silverhand’s story, you’ll eventually reach Cyberpunk 2077‘s point of no return. The problem is, it just kind of creeps up on you, and you may (definitely will) have some side content left to dive into.
When Is Cyberpunk 2077’s Point of No Return
The point of no return in Cyberpunk 2077 comes during the Nocturne OP55N1 mission.
Specifically, it’ll trigger as you enter the Embers restaurant. As such, we’d advise saving just before you step inside the elevator, so you can reload it once you’re done with the main story, and enjoy the side content. Plus, this would make a good save file to reload so you can experience all the different endings in Cyberpunk 2077.
What Can’t You Do After the Point of No Return?
Once you’re inside the Embers restaurant, you’ll be locked out of all side jobs and gigs that were available to you. Essentially, you’ll be on the final stretch of the main story and won’t be able to take a break from these missions in order to explore Night City.
We’d actually recommend you do all of the side jobs and gigs you’ve got left before reaching Cyberpunk 2077’s point of no return. That way you can see out the rest of V and Johnny’s story with powerful weapons and a higher leveled character.
