At the very beginning of Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll meet a Ripperdoc called Viktor, who fits you with some swanky Hiroshi optic upgrades. But V’s only just made it to Night City, so you won’t have the money to pay for these upgrades at the time. Viktor says you can pay him back, and so begins the ‘Paid in Full’ quest in Cyberpunk 2077. Here’s whether or not you should repay Victor.
The total cost of your Hiroshi optics and hand upgrades that Vicktor provides comes in at around 21,000 eddies. That’s a lot of money, and while it does get easier to make money faster as you progress further into Cyberpunk 2077, you’ll still want to make sure you’re not just throwing all that money down the drain.
Should You Repay Viktor in Cyberpunk 2077 Paid in Full Quest?
Well, it turns out that completing Cyberpunk 2077’s Paid in Full quest is a bit of a waste of your money.
By handing the 21,000 eddies to Viktor, you’ll complete the Paid in Full quest. He’ll thank you, you’ll earn some Street Cred, but that’s about it. You won’t get any other kind of reward for being a good samaritan and repaying the debt.
If you choose to ignore Paid in Full, the only negatives we’ve noticed is that you cannot buy any more Ripperdoc upgrades from Viktor, and the quest will forever be in your Journal. That being said, those are small prices to pay, far less than the 21,000 eddies you owe Victor.
Ultimately, it depends on how badly you need the money. We’d say you can probably get away with not completing ‘Paid in Full,’ as all that money can be spent on lucrative upgrades from other Ripperdocs… sorry Viktor.
