How to Use Photo Mode in The Crew 2

Recommended Videos

As you race your way across the roads, skies, and bodies of water that make up the United States of America in The Crew 2, chances are you’re going to see some rather picturesque sights. Birds gliding above you as you drift across the salt plains, a beautiful sunset, or perhaps your Audi TT sailing through the air after you nailed that ramp. Whatever the occasion, if you’re wanting to capture the moment in The Crew 2, you’ll want to know how to use photo mode.

Photo mode in The Crew 2 is pretty cool. It doesn’t just allow you to take a photo of the exact moment you’ve hit the button, you can rewind back 10 minutes to capture the perfect moment. In order to use photo mode and access this feature, all you need to do is simply press left on the d-pad. Doing this will cause The Crew 2 to load for a second, before bringing up a timeline of sorts at the bottom. Use R2 and L2 (RT and LT for Xbox One users) to skip forward and back through this timeline of your past 10 minutes. Once you’ve got the exact moment sorted, you can then use the left and right analog sticks to angle and position the camera exactly where you want it.

Finally, to actually capture the image in photo mode, all you need to do is press X on PS4 or A on Xbox One. It’s worth keeping in mind that this is how you’ll complete the Photo Op challenges that pop up every once in a while. They’re a good source of followers and bucks, too, so be sure to complete them.

That’s pretty much all you need to know to use photo mode in The Crew 2. For more on the game, be sure to check out our comprehensive wiki.
