How to Call Genie in Concrete Genie

While you’re directly controlling Ash in Concrete Genie, you will frequently need to call your genie in order to help solve puzzles and paint things.

In order to call your genie simply press L1, and whichever one you have selected will come to where you are. It’s as simple as that.

Be aware, however, that they won’t be able to come out if there are any bullies nearby or if darkness is blocking their path. Run away from the bullies if you need to call your genie.

Alternatively, you can press right on the D-pad to distract bullies, making them move away, and giving you a chance to call your genie over.

For darkness, on the other hand, you can find a different path to use, or use Superpaint to clear away the darkness.

You get a limited amount of Superpaint for each painting that you complete, and your genies will store it whenever you complete one of the paintings they want.

If your genie has Superpaint, simply pull out your brush using R2 then aim the reticle at them and press L2+R2 to restore your Superpaint.

Just remember to keep your genie by you as much as possible, as you’ll need their help quite often.

To sum up how to call your genie in Concrete Genie

  1. First make sure there are no bullies nearby or darkness blocking your path.
