Code Vein is a complex action-RPG in the same style as Dark Souls. As you might imagine, this means the game has a lot of inner-working parts and little things to know, like just what Marks of Honor are. With that, here’s how to get Marks of Honor and what they do in Code Vein.
How to Get Marks of Honor & What They Do in Code Vein
Marks of Honor are an item completely tied to the multiplayer of Code Vein, both in how you earn them and what you do.
Although there are a couple you can find scattered throughout the game world, your primary way of getting them is by helping other players, or having them help you.
To play multiplayer you need to option your main menu, go to the multiplayer tab, then select send a distress signal or respond to a distress signal.
Whether you go to another player’s world or they come to yours, you can earn Marks of Honor either way.
When playing co-op multiplayer, you’ll get awarded a Mark of Honor for beating any boss or miniboss, and that includes playing in the Depths. It can be pretty slow going to collect a bunch, but if you’re playing multiplayer quite a bit you should earn a tidy amount.
Marks of Honor will net you rewards by collecting a certain amount, and the list of rewards can be seen by opening your main menu, going to the Medals tab, and then looking at Reward List.
Collecting 10 medals will net you an exclusive Gift, while all of the other rewards are simply icons and titles. However, there is also an achievement/trophy tied to getting 400 medals.
