Call of Duty‘s new battle royale, Warzone, may be a wannabe-serious shooter, but it’s got an undeniable fun side. Just as in many games, you can emote, with most of them taking the form of sprays. So that you can give your presence a lasting effect, here’s everything you need to know about how to spray in CoD Warzone.
While the idea of spraying in Warzone is to do it on a wall to convey a message or scare some players, it’s fun to do it on another player, covering them in bright paint so that they’re easy to spot in the world or Gulag.
How to Spray in Warzone
Thankfully, it’s quite easy to do. What you need to do is hold up on the d-pad if you’re playing with a controller (T if you’re playing on PC) and then use the right stick to select one of the options from the wheel that appears.
If you’ve got ping set to the same button, you need to make sure that you’re holding it so that you’re not confusing your teammates.
The options include spraying a red heart, pink lightning bolt, and green skull on something. On a wall, the image is easy to see, but spray a person and all you’ll be able to see it the color.
As you can see from the screenshot above, you can also get your player to do a thumbs up by holding down on the right stick after bringing up the sprays. The other seven options are all spray variations though, with the red and yellow ones being particularly bright.
