Warzone, and all battle royale games for that matter, might be all about getting wins and being the last team standing, but it’s cool to see your kills and score rack up as you play. So that you can see how you’re doing during a match, here’s everything you need to know about how to see the scoreboard in CoD Warzone.
The scoreboard in Warzone shows a few different things. First off, it shows your entire squad, whether that’s you on your own or with three others in squads, it shows your XP score, how many kills you’ve got in the match, how much damage you’ve done to enemies in the match, and how many contracts you’ve completed. Therefore, it’s pretty helpful to check it every now and again.
How to See Scoreboard in CoD Warzone
During a game, you need to press Options if you’re on PS4 (Menu on Xbox One, ESC on PC) to bring up the pause menu. This is where you go to tinker with settings and the like, but you’ll also see the scoreboard there.
It will only show three players at first though, since Infinity Ward changed that in a recent update, so you’ll have to scroll down it to see the fourth player if you’re in a squads match.
Do note though, that you should only do this when you’re sure you’re safe from enemies. Pausing Warzone to see the scoreboard has a tendency to make the game freeze for a few seconds while your system tries to do it. At least that’s true on PS4.
You can also see the scoreboard from the previous game from the lobby menu, but that’s also unreliable. In theory, all you need to do is press L2/LT to bring up the Past Matches info and scroll over to Scoreboard. However, it rarely works as it is supposed to.
I’ve seen it show a random team that’s not yours, kick you out of the game for trying to get to it, and be completely blank. Really, all you can do is keep your fingers crossed that it’s going to work when you want it or hope that Infinity Ward releases a fix for it sometime soon.
