Carrion features a pretty standard upgrade system, doling out powers to help you progress through the campaign accordingly. These abilities allow you to do an array of different things, affecting combat and traversal in different ways.

How to Get Past Lasers in Carrion

The second power you’ll unlock is cloaking, making you completely invisible when it is in use. Using this ability is the only way you’ll be able to get past lasers when you run into them.

Once you’re invisble, lasers won’t be able to see you. This allows the creature to slip past them untouched.

The main caveat to this is that the creature needs to be small in order to turn invisible, as large sizes can’t cloak. Also, be sure to keep an eye on your energy meter when cloaking.

If your energy meter runs out while cloaked, you will become visible once again. If this happens, you’ll need to find a power outlet to recharge.

How to Get Past Lasers in Carrion:

  1. Progress through the game until you unlock your second ability: cloaking.

  2. Make the creature small in order to enter cloaking.

  3. Pass through the lasers.

You’ll be invisible, but keep an eye on the energy meter. If it runs out, you become visible and need to recharge.
