Can You Get Deoxys in Pokemon BDSP?

At the time of writing, you cannot get Deoxys in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

While this may come as disappointing news to some players, it should be noted that this was the same case in the original games.

Deoxys could not be caught as part of the story or end game content, but instead came as a special Mystery Gift Pokemon for certain games.

Will Deoxys Be Catchable in Brilliant Diamond & Shining Pearl?

It’s likely that Deoxys will be made available in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl at some point in the future, as part of a special ‘Mystery Gift‘ event.

At the time of writing, however, Nintendo hasn’t yet announced the event, or even hinted at the date which it would be made available.

As such, for the time being, you’ll just have to cross your fingers and hope that they announce the Deoxys Mystery Gift event sooner rather than later if you’re looking to catch this elusive Pokemon.

In the meantime, make sure that you’ve got yourself the free Manaphy and Mew in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl that are obtained if you have save data for Pokemon Sword and Shield or Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, respectively.
