The Flutterjam can be found in just one place, which is the top of the mountain in Frosted Peak. They’ll be flying around in big circles around the peak, but only between 4 am and 4 pm when it’s light outside.

How to Catch Flutterjam in Bugsnax

If you scan a Flutterjam, you’ll see that it is attracted to Peanut Butter. We tried to lure it to the Snak Trap by covering the trap in the sauce but, while it did fly towards it, the Flutterjam is simply too big to be captured that way.

It’s also too big and flies too high in the sky to be grabbed or tripped using your other Bugsnax tools.

What you need to do is fire some Peanut Butter at the Flutterjam to catch it in Bugsnax, which will turn it into a PB&J sandwich and see it drop to the ground. However, since it flies over the peak of the mountain, you need to make sure that you shoot Peanut Butter at it while it’s over solid ground. Do so at the wrong time and it’ll fall off the mountain, and you won’t be able to retrieve it.

If you shoot at the right time, it’ll settle just below you, and you’ll have ten seconds to get down and catch it in your Snak Trap.
