It’s been a bit since Halloween and Borderlands 3 is bringing in a new event for all prospective vault hunters looking for a little extra loot. Same as it was last time, the event mainly revolves around special enemies spawning that you have to fight to continue going. However, the extra enemies, especially when you have no desire to do the event can be a little annoying, so here is how to turn off the Revenge of the Cartels seasonal event in Borderlands 3.
How to Turn Off the Revenge of the Cartels Seasonal Event
It first should be noted that while you can turn it off, if you join someone who doesn’t have it disabled, you will still encounter things related to the event. The game goes by what the host has selected, as this is something that would be harder to instance player to player.
Disabling Revenge of the Cartels must be done from the main menu. You cannot do it in-game as once you have spawned, it is already going.
After hitting Start Game and getting to the menu where you can continue game and change between Normal and True Vault Hunter Mode there will be an option at the very bottom that says “Disable Revenge of the Cartels.”
If you get to the point where you want to take a crack at the event, you will need to quit out and get back to this menu, as said. It isn’t something you can do while playing. It’s an easy switch to flip whichever way you want it.
To summarize disabling Revenge of the Cartels:
- Enter the main menu where you can enter the game.
- Scroll down to “Disable Revenge of the Cartels” and disable it.
There you have it, how to Turn Off the Revenge of the Cartels Seasonal Event in Borderlands 3.
