Borderlands 3’s gorgeous cel-shaded art-style is synonymous with the series, setting apart from a crowded genre of looter-shooter games. It’s timeless, just like a photo — which is why you’re probably wanting to know how to use photo mode so you definitely won’t ever forget how pretty the game is. Here’s what you need to know.
How to Use Photo Mode
- While in-game, access the menu. It’s the option on PS4, Esc on PC, or the Menu button on Xbox One, then select Photo mode from the menu.
- Use the left and right triggers/ L2 and R2 (on console) or the mouse on PC to lower and raise the camera and the left and right analog stick to move your camera around.
- From here, you’ll snap the photo by using either the Share button on PS4, View button on Xbox, or Space bar on PC.
Now that you have taken your photo, you have a whole stack of options that allow you to tweak and craft the photo to your preference.
This includes the ability to change its contrast, saturation, brightness, gain, the time of day, player, whether or not you’d prefer to see the damage numbers shown or have them hidden, and much more.
That should be everything you need to know about how to use the photo mode in Borderlands 3. For more useful tips and guides on the game, be sure to check out our dedicated guide wiki-page.
