Aside from just shooting dudes all the time and farming bosses for their Legendary loot, there’s a whole universe to explore in the story campaign of Borderlands 3 as well. Here’s how many planets there are in Borderlands 3.
How Many Planets There Are in Borderlands 3
Throughout the main story campaign of Borderlands 3, you’re going to be shuttling from planet to planet, taking out different bad guys and exploring new environments. In this game, there are technically only four planets to explore, but the final area in the campaign brings you to a moon that’s also an open environment that you can wander around in and do side quests.
We’ve listed all the planets (and moon) down below, but look away if you don’t want to be spoiled:
- Pandora
- Promethea
- Athenas
- Eden-6
- Nekrotafeyo
While just having five planets in the game might not sound like a lot, each of these areas are extremely big and full of tons of optional side missions to check out.
There are various segmented areas and camps to discover in each individual planet, so you don’t have to worry about quickly running out of things to do and see.
The story campaign will naturally take you through each of these locations as you progress, so you don’t have to worry about missing out on any cool areas to explore as well.
They’re all also pretty varied in terms of visuals and aesthetics, giving you something to look forward to whenever you’re progressing.
