Skyrim Power Fantasy
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is just one of those games that will probably continue to get mod support until something happens where humans no longer have access to computers. Here are the best Skyrim mods of June 2019.
If you ever told your parents that you wanted to be a necromancer when you grew up, then you might want to check out this mod. Skyrim Power Fantasy lets you become an all-powerful necromancer in many different ways.
Initially, this Skyrim mod was just going to overhaul some vanilla spells to give players the opportunity to feel more powerful going down this path of death.
It felt good to the mod creator, KingOfXenon, but to top it off they added completely new necromancy spells, like the ridiculously powerful Raise the Dead. This overpowered spell resurrects all nearby corpses to fight in your name until they die yet again.
Ikumi Nakamura The Ghost Hunter
Ikumi Nakamura was one of the highlights of Bethesda’s E3 2019 presentation, so it’s only fitting that someone made a mod to add her as a companion in Skyrim. They even modified her profession to a ghost hunter which they explained makes more sense in the world of Skyrim since video games don’t exist.
Another important piece to point out is that they specified this is a PG Skyrim mod. The amount of respect for Nakamura the mod creator put into this is truly heartwarming.
Nakamura is equipped with healing magic and a katana that’s extra effective against supernatural beings and is one of the best Skyrim mods of June 2019.
Growing Familiar
There are two important pieces to this Skyrim mod that make it so great: the name of the mod is a pun and you get to raise your own spectral saber-toothed tiger.
You will lose access to the typical wolf familiar, but it’s a trade that’s well worth giving up one of the least powerful creatures you could conjure.
This new familiar will not only an aesthetic upgrade, but it will also be much more powerful than the vanilla version. It levels up slightly slower than the Dragonborn which allows this upgraded familiar to be relevant in the latter portions of the game. Give it a try if you’re looking for some new Skyrim mods from June 2019.
The Little Kharjo
The Little Kharjo mod lets you romp around Skyrim with a child-sized version of the great Khajit warrior, Kharjo. You can make the original Kharjo one of your companions in vanilla Skyrim, but why do that when you can make him your son?
Maybe it’s a bit weird to transform a full-sized adult character into a child, but his new diminutive stature should at least make him a smaller target for your enemies.
Stranger yet, you can make Kharjo your son, but if you always wanted to raise a cat son then here’s your chance.
MultiCraft
This is the best Skyrim mod for people looking to grind their smithing stat into oblivion by crafting thousands of iron daggers. With MultiCraft, if you have the necessary materials to craft multiples of an item, then you can build them all in one trip to the menu without losing any experience on a single one.
The official mod page goes in-depth on the match but the fast explanation is that crafting multiple items simultaneously “cheats” you out of some XP.
Even if you’re creating multiple different types of items you’ll never need to bother with the pain of tedious menuing again. Right now you can only craft 10, 100, or 1000 items at once, but it’s still much better than the alternative of crafting one item at a time.
