Faster Sleep Wait

This simple mod does exactly what it says it does, drastically reducing the wait time when sleeping. Those who take advantage of the sleeping feature in Skyrim realize how long the waiting gap is between going to bed and actually waking up.

Not to mention if you’ve decided to sleep for hours on end, which then you’d have to wait for each hour to pass by until your character finally wakes up. If loading screens aren’t your thing, just install this mod to get rid of it. You won’t have to spend your minutes waiting for your character to wake up, letting you spend more time on your adventures than in bed.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Buster Sword

Modders are no strangers to bringing in items from other games. This particular modded weapon comes from Final Fantasy VII –Cloud Strife’s iconic Buster Sword. The weapon has been cleaned up and comes in 1K, 2K, and even 4K resolution. Apart from role-playing purposes, it’s actually a great sword to have around on your journey.

This two-handed weapon is an interpretation of the remake’s buster sword, so it isn’t the actual official design. That said, we hardly know anything about the upcoming remake, so this Buster Sword Skyrim mod is the closest thing we’ll get to Cloud’s weapon for now.

Unlimited Shouts

As the Dragonborn, you have access to tons of fearsome abilities – including Shouts. However, you can’t just keep going around and yelling at your enemies, as you’re bound by cooldowns. If the thought of sore throats doesn’t bother you, then you can use this nifty Skyrim mod for even more power.

The Unlimited Shouts mod makes it so your character can keep shouting whenever they want to. The cooldown restriction has been limited, so you can fus ro dah to your heart’s content. It’s definitely worth noting that this mod will make your game significantly easier depending on which shouts you’ll be using.

Artwork Imports

Skyrim’s medieval setting marks the perfect era for budding artists, designers, and craftsmen. There’s a severe lack of art in the world, so why not put some in with this mod? Artwork Imports adds a handful of paintings and tapestries that are displayed all over Skyrim.

The mod tries to keep things realistic at best, with modest houses only home to a few paintings. Meanwhile, some of the bigger cities have buildings that horde artwork. This mod is perfect for those seeking to set a more classical mood in the game, or for those who just love art in general.

My Ugly Backpack

This not-so-stylish backpack is for every daring adventurer who just never has enough space for their dungeon raids. The My Ugly Backpack mod functions as, well, a backpack for extra storage space at the cost of your character carrying around some hideous bag.

The mod adds six versions of the backpack to Skyrim, with five of them already enhanced. You can construct the bag at any forge and works well with all body types, regardless of your avatar’s gender. With this bag, you can have up to 200 extra carry weight, depending on which bag you craft.

The Den

Skyrim has tons of housing options you can look into. While they mainly act as storage space, they’re great tools for role-playing purposes. If you don’t want your Dragonborn to live in some fancy mansion, you can send them off to The Den instead.

This quaint home is the perfect home for those characters who just want to live in isolation. Located to the southwest of Steed Stone, The Den is little more than a shack with a scarecrow placed outside. In your new home lies only the bare essentials, from a coy fireplace to a warm bed.

Useless Plants Begone

There really isn’t a plant problem in Skyrim, but for those who just want cleaner roads, the Useless Plants Begone mod is your go-to weeder. What is basically does it pull out some of the non-harvestable plants for less clutter.

You won’t need the plants anyway, and they aren’t exactly the best-looking plants either. That said, the mod doesn’t strip away all of the non-harvestable plants. Skyrim will still be full of greenery even with the mod intact, so you won’t have to worry about a barren snowy wasteland.
