Elemental Pets
Look, we’re suckers for Minecraft mods that dish out the cute. If you promise something that is even comparatively snuggly or wuggly, we will most likely covet it. Perhaps cuddling elemental pets is a very dangerous idea that will only end in tears, but the fact remains that they are totes adorbs and we want/need at least fifty of them.
Ranging from log monsters to lightning sprites and everywhere in between, these whimsical chums will take the fight to your foes. Plus, you’ll score some definite style points for the aforementioned totes adorbs aspect.

Demagnetize
Magnets are the bane of our existence. Not only are they disruptive to your Minecrafting at the most inopportune times, but Erik Lehnsherr once used them in an effort to claim world domination. Long story short, magnets must be stopped!!
Thankfully, mercifully… the call has been answered. By using the Demagnetizer, you’ll be able to temporarily disable magnetism in items. Finally, you won’t have wrenches chaotically flying towards your face all because you happen to have a magnet in tow. That’s a safety hazard for sure.

Worley’s Caves
Despite having the word ‘mine’ in the title, the underground caverns of Minecraft leave a lot to be desired. They lack the interconnectivity and depth to really make them worth writing home about. Enter Worley’s Caves. Like, literally enter them. You’re sure to be impressed.
This mod gives a sprawling network of tunnels, where two experiences will never feel the same. You can even hide your feelings down there.

Straw Golem
There was once a time long ago, before humans roamed this earth, where the plains were rife with golems. These mysterious creatures held many powers, but chief among them was their incredible ability to harvest crops. Though their time has long since passed, there are rumors of a Minecraft mod that will bring these glorious beasts back to life.
None of that is true. But it’s compelling lore, and I refuse to be told otherwise.
The straw golem harvests your fully grown crops for you. It is not suited for combat, and will flee if aggressive mobs draw near. See? It’s not as exciting without the backstory.

Aqueducts
Once the Romans came up with aqueducts, mankind’s ability to move water from one place to t’other increased astronomically. Unlike the story about golems, that’s actually true, though golems may or may not have been involved with the construction of the first aqueducts. Records are spotty.
Now you can enjoy the ingenuity of ancient Rome in your Minecraft world. You can even ride along your aqueduct on a boat if you’d like to evoke feelings of Venice. Just remember: buckets don’t exist.

Elder Arsenal
If you’re feeling a little Tolkien, you may be interested in arming yourself with medieval weapons great and small. The obvious ones are all here, like daggers and maces, but there are a few surprise inclusions, too, such as katars and halberds. Plus, knifes! That’s right, knifes.
About the only one we cannot abide is pistols, for they are not medieval in any sense of the word. They weren’t found in Europe until the 16th century, after the middle ages had already concluded. I had no intention for this post to be loaded with so much history, but I guess we’re all going to learn something today.

Trap Expansion
Are you a tad malicious? Do you fancy hearing agonizing screams somewhere off in the distance, and knowing with satisfaction that you were the cause of their misfortune? If so, seek help check out this mod that introduces a slew of tricky traps.
Slippery stones and spike pits make for an excellent one-two punch (or one-two crunch, if you will), but you can even use detectors that act as a sentry to alert you of oncoming prey. Once you’ve snared your victim, they’ll be at your mercy! Will they put the lotion in the basket? Only time will tell…

Heroic Armory
Weapons of legend, wielded by some of history’s greatest heroes… Wouldn’t you like to get your grubby little hands on that? I most certainly would, and my hands are the grubbiest of them all.
This mod brings instantly recognizable weaponry from The Legend of Zelda, Lord of the Rings, Soul Calibur, and many more, to the tune of 176 different pieces for you to find and collect. Half the fun is discovering just what kind of zany items you’ll happen upon, so do yourself a favor and resist the urge to read the full list before downloading!
…No, not even a peek, you cheeky minx!

Xray Mod
At long last, ATE47 has posited the question that we were all too afraid to ask: Boried about finding in a legitimate way your diamond?
Don’t pretend you haven’t been wondering the same. Don’t pretend you completely understand what that sentence was supposed to mean, either. Instead, give into your most carnal desires to see beyond measure. To view the unviewable. To xray the bejeezus outta your Minecraft empire.
There are various options to tinker with, and depending on how bold you are, you can end up making the whole screen look like a catastrophic glitch. But there are prizes in those invisible walls, waiting for you to scoop them up and make them your own – aesthetics be damned!!

Embers Rekindleated
The big daddy is back at last! The Embers mod was one of Minecraft’s most popular, and it has finally made its triumphant return. Whether it’s rekindled or the mildly Flanderseseque rekindleated, it is already picking up steam after only being recently added to the modding scene.
Your mission is to gather enough ember to power your alchemic weapons. It can only be found deep within the earth, near the blistering heat of its core. Will you risk it all for the ultimate power? Or will you just chill with your straw golem and your aqueduct? There’s actually no wrong answer, either sounds fine, really.
