To change attachments, hold L1 on PlayStation, LB on Xbox, or T on PC. This will bring up the plus-shaped menu for you to choose from four different attachment categories. With this menu up, select from the attachments that you have available on that specific gun.

This specific attachment menu is a new addition to Battlefield as a franchise, so it may take some getting used to.

The available attachments that appear in the plus menu next to the gun include a number of different sights, grips, suppressors, magazines, and more. These all come with unique stats and bonuses that can be more or less useful depending on your current situation.

Obviously, just be careful not to pull up this plus menu when engaged in combat or in dangerous areas. It’s a small, transparent HUD, but you’ll still be vulnerable as you swap parts in and out.

That’s everything you need to know about how to change attachments and use the T-Bar in Battlefield 2042. Be sure to check out our guide wiki on the game for more tips, tricks, and other useful info if you’re looking for more pointers.
