Battlefield 1: How Long It Is and How Many Missions There Are

How Long It Is – Battlefield 1

Recommended Videos

Battlefield 1 is out and takes players back into the trenches of World War I. However, rather than going the standard route for storytelling in a campaign, Battlefield 1 actually has multiple stories to make your way through. Unfortunately, none are all that long.

When we played through Battlefield 1, we found that each story clocked in at around an hour or so. While players desperate to complete all challenges and collect all codex entries can take a little bit longer, it’s not going to be a huge difference in time.

During our playthrough we came in at about 5-6 hours on normal difficulty. Of course, playing through on hard will stretch things out a bit longer, but all in all, don’t expect to spend much longer than eight hours in Battlefield 1’s stories.

If you want to know the name of the different stories as well as the mission names in each one, please check the next page.

Battlefield 1 has five war stories to play through each focusing on a different area of the war. It also has a prologue which we’ve included below. Here are all of the war stories, their names, and their chapters.

Prologue – Storm of Steel

1. Through Mud and Blood

  • Over the Top
  • Fog of War
  • Breakdown
  • Steel on Steel

2. Friends in High Places

  • Test Flight
  • Total War
  • Fall From Grace
  • Forte Et Fidele

3. Avanti Savoia!

  • O La Vittoria
  • O Tutti Accoppati

4. The Runner

  • Cape Helles
  • The Runner
  • Be Safe

5. Nothing Is Written

  • Hidden in Plain Sight
  • Young Men’s Work
  • Hear the Desert

That’s all of Battlefield 1’s war stories and chapters you’ll be playing through in the campaign. Of course, once that’s over you’ll be free to carry on the action in multiplayer.
