Best Party Setup for Good Playthrough in Baldur’s Gate 3

As you venture through the story and side quests in Baldur’s Gate 3, you’ll inevitably have to make decisions that could cause your party members to either love or hate you. If you piss them off too much, this could even result in them leaving your party permanently.

If you’re looking to play through the game as an overall morally good and decent person, you’re gonna want the right companions along for the journey, as listed below:

  • Shadowheart
  • Wyll
  • Gale

These three companions are pretty much the best picks for any player looking to play through the game as a good person. Despite her somewhat sinister-sounding name, Shadowheart is an upright cleric who will always keep you on the straight and narrow.

Similarly, Wyll may have a dark pact with the devil, but he’s also generally an upright person who will always try to do the right thing. He’ll support you in going out of your way to help the less fortunate, and will express his disapproval if you do anything callous or selfish.

Finally, while Gale may also have a bit of a roguish side, he’s also generally pretty good natured and supportive of your upright deeds.

With these three, you’ll be getting a cleric, warlock, and wizard respectively, so you’ll probably want to have your custom character be a fighter or a similar tanky melee class to balance things out.

That’s all you need to know about the best party setup for a good playthrough in Baldur’s Gate 3. Be sure to search for Twinfinite for more tips and information on the game.
