In Back 4 Blood, it is up to a group of survivors to help fend off the swarm of zombies that have taken over the world known as the Ridden. To do this, they must combine their talents and work together. Thankfully, solo players don’t have to worry about going into this game by themselves, as there is actually an option to play with bots. Here is everything you need to know about how to play solo in Back 4 Blood.
How to Play Solo in Back 4 Blood
As soon as you boot up the game, you’ll be given an option to play through the tutorial solo or with friends. When you click on this a cutscene will begin that introduces you to the game’s four starting characters.
After the cutscene plays, you’ll be given the choice of who to play as. Once you pick your character and lock in the default deck, you’ll automatically be added to a solo game.
If you back out of this, you’ll be taken to a hub area that lets you customize decks, select characters, and choose which part of the story you want to play in. To play solo with bots from this area, head over to the tent just to the right of the front of the for and talk to Phillips.
Open up the Campaign menu and select solo campaign. You can continue or start a new run in this menu. Once you’ve set everything to your liking, the game will start with bots in as the other three characters.
Solo Progression
One final thing to note is that while you couldn’t earn any Supply Points when playing solo back when the game first launched, all that is set to change with the December update releasing on Dec. 16. The new update will make it so that solo players can test their decks offline with bots, and still be rewarded for clearing campaign levels that way.
That is everything you need to know about how to play solo in Back 4 Blood. If you’re still on the hunt for more info about the game, be sure to search Twinfinite, as there are plenty of tips, tricks, and FAQs about the game throughout.
