The main way to heal in Astral Chain is to use items like Medicine. You can buy them from the start of each File, while you’re at the Neuron Base, or you will be able to pick them up from the map during missions.

How to Heal in Astral Chain

To use those items that you either purchase before or find during a level, you’ll need to open the game’s menu by pressing the – button.

Then, cycle over to the Items tab and select the healing item that you want to use. With it highlighted, you can select use and your character will heal the amount that matches the healing item.

You are also able to assign healing items to Astral Chain’s shortcut menu by selecting Register instead of Use when on the Items menu.

Then, when you’re in the middle of the action, just hit X to use the item that you currently have set to the shortcut. Alternatively, you can hold down the X button to bring up the radial wheel and select a specific item you want to use.

In short, here’s how to heal in Astral Chain.

  1. Purchase healing items from the Neuron Base at the start of a File or find them during a level.

  2. Press – to go to the Items menu and select the one you want to use.
