Following the Assassin’s Creed series’ major overhaul with the release of 2017’s Origins, Ubisoft has begun giving players more choice in how their protagonist’s stories play out. This remains the same in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, with the story frequently putting the spotlight on Eivor to make a choice or tough decision. One of the first you’ll need to make comes just before Eivor sets sail for England with her crew. In this guide, we’ll talk you through whether you should take the supplies to England, or leave them with Styrbjorn in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
The supplies in question are those that formerly belonged to Kjotve the Cruel, the leader of a rival faction and the game’s first boss battle.
There’s a lot of riches and supplies that would come in helpful during Eivor and her crew’s conquest of Britain, but her dear friend Sigurd will say that she cannot simply take what rightfully belongs to Styrbjorn.
As you make your way to your longship to set sail for Britain, you’ll be given the choice. Do you take the supplies with you to England, or do you leave them with Styrbjorn?
Taking the Supplies to England
If you decide to take the supplies with you to England, Styrbjorn will be a little disappointed in your conversation, but there are no immediate consequences.
When you eventually reach England, you may have some more supplies than you otherwise would, meaning you can build and upgrade buildings sooner.
Leaving the Supplies with Styrbjorn
If you choose to leave the supplies with Styrbjorn, you obviously won’t get the immediate benefits of having them when you arrive in England. However, good ol’ Sigurd will be pleased to see you deal with the decision in a fair manner.
While on the surface taking the supplies to England might seem like the best option, we’d actually advise you leave them with Styrbjorn instead.
We’ll explain why below, but before we do, be warned this does contain some spoilers for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s story.
What to Do with the Supplies in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla?
If you take the supplies with you, Sigurd will be pretty disappointed in Eivor and will actually remember this throughout the story.
If Eivor continues to make poor decisions that Sigurd disagrees with, this will ultimately determine whether or not he stays with Eivor in England come the end of the game.
You can give yourself a better chance of having Sigurd stick around with you by choosing not to take the supplies with you, but it won’t guarantee he will.
We won’t spoil anything else, or any of the other choices that influence his decision here, but just keep in mind that your actions do, indeed, have consequences.
That’s everything you need to know on whether or not to take the supplies to England or leave them with Styrbjorn in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
