Assassin’s Creed Origins: How to Unlock the Great Sphinx Vault

How to Unlock the Great Sphinx Vault in Assassin’s Creed Origins

Recommended Videos

Assassin’s Creed Origins has plenty of secrets tucked away within its beautifully recreated Egypt. One such secret is an entrance to the Great Sphinx located in Giza. Entering that lets you obtain a few pieces of treasure, but that’s just a secret masking an altogether bigger secret tucked away within the Great Sphinx vault.

You’ll notice that there’s a large blue room within the Sphinx with a map on a table. That map marks the general locations of all 12 stone circles located throughout Assassin’s Creed Origins, which happen to be the key to this room. Go out and interact with all 12 of these locations (we’ve provided a guide with more exact locations of each here), and then return to the Sphinx to watch a cutscene that reveals an entrance to a large vault with a single Isu mechanism within. You can only unlock that message if you have 50 Silica though.

Silica is found in tombs and very rarely in underwater locations. It’s used to trigger the mechanisms left behind in other similar secret places, so make sure to save it all up. Once you have 50, you can unlock the vault and the biggest secret in Assassin’s Creed Origins which includes a slick set of futuristic armor.

That’s all you need to know to get into the Great Sphinx Vault in Assassin’s Creed Origins. For more on the game, be sure to check out our ever-expanding wiki.
