Assassin’s Creed Origins: Where the Big Pyramids Are

WHERE THE BIG PYRAMIDS ARE IN ASSASSIN’S CREED ORIGINS

Recommended Videos

One of the most exciting prospects of exploring Ancient Egypt in an Assassin’s Creed game is surely the chance to climb up and slide down the iconic pyramids. These enormous structures are the hallmark of Egyptian culture during the two thousand year period in which the civilization was at its zenith, and the chance to get up close with them (as in, right on top of them!) will likely be high on your to-do list as you enjoy traversing the massive open-world of Assassin’s Creed Origins.

There are all sorts of Egyptian monuments and mini-pyramids scattered across the Assassin’s Creed Origins’ sandbox, but if you’re looking for the famous pyramids as seen in the trailers and screenshots then you will need to head to Giza. The area will be black on your map until you visit the area as part of the story (which occurs midway through Assassin’s Creed Origins). Once you have found the area, it will be quite obviously marked on your map from then on and you can either traverse back there on a mount or via fast travel.

The Giza pyramid features three huge structures for your climbing pleasure: Khufu (largest), Khafre, Menkaure. Interestingly, these three pyramids comprise one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World and is the only one still in existence today.

That is the location of the big pyramids in Assassin’s Creed Origins. For more guides and information on the game, check out Twinfinite’s wiki page.
