Looking for how to get money fast in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey? Here are the best ways.

Assassin’s Creed Odyssey is the latest entry in Ubisoft‘s popular and long-running action-adventure game series. This time around, the game takes players to Ancient Greece, and allows them to choose between playing as a male or female character.

Regardless of which character you choose, you’ll still need money to get by. Or Drachmae, as the currency was known as back then. Here’s what you need to know.

The Best Way to Get Money Fast in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

To put things simply, the best way is just by doing quests. Whether they’re side quests or main story stuff, every quest will reward you with some Drachmae.

Aside from that, you can also get Drachmae pretty easily by looting forts and clearing out bandit camps. These forts will constantly respawn enemies and items inside. You’ll often be able to get a good amount of loot and money fast by simply looting fallen enemies and any weapons racks you spot.

Once you’ve cleared one, venture off to another or complete a side mission and return later to do it all over again. Sell any gear you don’t need (or isn’t useful for crafting ingredients), and you’ll be making that sweet skrilla hand over fist in no time.

Other Methods to Get Drachmae Fast in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey

As you travel across the world, be sure to kill any wild animals you come across as well. Sometimes, you can get luxury goods, which can be sold to the blacksmith for a premium. We don’t recommend selling your outdated equipment all the time, as those can be broken down into useful materials.

However, selling tradeable goods is a great way to get that cheddar fast, too.

Drachmae, is primarily used for upgrading your ship to make it stronger. It can also be spent to upgrade your low-level equipment to bring them up to your current level. We especially recommend doing this only for Legendary tier items, as they can cost quite a bit later on.

Of course, you can also buy gear, but this can be a waste since you’ll be finding a better version of it later. So don’t go wasting your Drachmae on that.

In short, just focus on completing all side quests and selling goods, and you’ll be rolling in dough eventually.

That’s pretty much all you need to know about how to get money fast in Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Be sure to check our Assassin’s Creed Odyssey wiki for more tips and information on the game. And here are some guides at a glance for you:
